Tracing directly to great foundation horses like Jackie Bee and Magnolia Bar (see his AQHA papers here), it's no wonder Blue Fancy Dan is an exceptionally balanced 15.2 hh stallion with a pretty head, long neck and large hip. He consistently passes on his straight , strong legs and excellent trainable disposition to his colts and fillies. With his third crop on the ground and a total of 30+ foals, Blue has also proven to be a 100% color producer! Thanks to him the Diamond Double T Ranch is home to a variety of attractive and athletic blue roans, red roans, palominos, buckskins and duns.
Unshown due to injury, 'Blue' has been schooled in dressage and working cowhorse. His sweepy, even movement is a pleasure to ride. Blue's 2004 book included several accomplished hunter/jumper mares and we are excited to see the results of these crosses in spring 2005.
